I am right now at this very moment preparing a special image of the Mac OS X operating system for installation on my Apple TV’s internal hard drive. I plan to install this image by first booting from my Apple TV compatible external USB boot drive, and then restoring the image I am currently preparing onto the Apple TV’s internal hard drive using Disk Utility. This will allow me to boot my Apply TV from its own internal hard drive into Mac X, and do so without the use of an external drive or USB Hub. This makes the Apple TV an even more compact, and portable computer than it would be with a USB hub, and external hard drive hanging off of it.
